Privacy Policy
MyGoal helps people track personal goals and, when they choose, join small Community groups. This policy explains what information the MyGoal application and Community service process.
1. Information we process
- Google account information: when you sign in to Community, we receive your Google account identifier, email address, display name, and profile image.
- Goal information: goal names, dates, and progress counts may be synchronized after you opt in to Community. Goals used only in the personal tracker remain on your device.
- Community information: group membership, behavior goals, minimum actions, weekly plans, check-ins, reflections, encouragement messages, blocks, and reports you submit.
- Technical information: authentication tokens and limited request information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
2. How we use information
We use information to authenticate you, synchronize opted-in goal activity, provide Community groups and check-ins, prevent abuse, respond to reports, maintain security, and operate the service. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
3. What other members can see
Members of a group may see your display name, profile image, behavior goal, minimum action, weekly check-ins, reflections, and encouragements intended for the group. Raw personal goal history is not shown to group members.
4. Service providers and disclosure
We use Google Sign-In for authentication and infrastructure providers to host and secure the service. These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy commitments. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or the public.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain account and Community information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve reports, meet legal obligations, and protect the service. You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing us. Deleting the app removes local app data but may not delete information already synchronized to Community.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including authenticated requests and protected token storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
7. Children
MyGoal is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in their country to consent to online services. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
8. Changes and contact
